V-Twin Motorcycles Feature bike for November 2008 # 91
The name of the bike is "Carpe Diem" (life is short live it). This is a Bike that we custom build for a Canadian customer. There a many special features, the paint job is the story of an every day persons life: on the front fender tip you are born then as you go through the bike you go to school, get married, have kids, arguments, start drinking,divorce, get sick, then die this is the last picture on the rear fender.
The wheels are custom made to match the paint theme (front 21, rear 330). The motor is a 124 cid round cylinder with a 6 speed transmission with a modified body. The belt drive has an internal starter, 360 brakes. Front end with internal brake line. The mirrors have the speedo and rpm built in. Handlebars were made and molded with the headlight and signals built in.
As you can see there is extensive work done to the body of this bike. We have molded everything, the fenders have 3d shapes to them, custom air filter, custom motor mount.
All this work is done with steel no fiberglass or bondo, this is one of the reasons why our custom bikes stay nice for years.
